Carlos Costa
Associate Professor at University of Aveiro

Carlos Costa has a degree in Urban and Regional Planning (1988) from the University of Aveiro, a Masters degree in Management in Tourism (1991) and a PhD in Tourism (1996) by the Department of Management Studies for Tourism and Hotel Industries, University of Surrey (UK). He is currently an Associate Professor with Aggregation, as a permanent appointment at the Department of Economics, Management and Industrial Engineering of the University of Aveiro; Director of the “Turismo & Desenvolvimento” Journal; Director of the Doctoral Programme in Tourism of the Department of Economics, Management and Industrial Engineering of the University of Aveiro; Board Member of the Center for Studies in Public Policy and Governance, and Technical-Scientific Coordinator of the “idtour-unique solutions” (spin-off company of the University of Aveiro).
