About the Event

The School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism of the University of the Algarve and the Journal “Encontros Científicos - Tourism & Management Studies” are organizing the “International Conference on Tourism & Management Studies – Algarve 2011”, which will be held on the 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th of October 2011. This conference will focus on a wide variety of topics related to Tourism studies and Tourism and Hospitality Management. This event aims to stimulate research and dissemination of scientific knowledge in the areas of Tourism and Leisure Studies, as well as Tourism and Hospitality Management, encouraging inter-disciplinary and comparative approaches. It is also our aim to provide a platform for stimulating inter-disciplinary discussions in the above mentioned areas, enhancing knowledge and experience and promoting scholarly cooperation and collaborative work among researchers from all over the world.
