Call for Papers
The V Postgraduate Conference of the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism is organized by teaching staff under the auspices of the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism, University of the Algarve (Portugal). The conference aims to offer the opportunity for postgraduate students and recent PhD graduates from the areas of Economic and Management Sciences, ICT, Languages and Linguistics, and Tourism to come together to present papers or posters related to their research and to exchange ideas in a multidisciplinary environment. For the 5th edition, which will take place on 11th July 2014, doctorate students and recent PhD graduates (last 5 years) will have the possibility to present papers and masters’ students will be able to present posters. We invite all researchers to submit their abstracts (in English, Portuguese or Spanish, max. 300 words), in the following areas:

All participants:
- 6 April 2014: Deadline extension for abstract submission

- 28 April 2014: Notification of acceptance and revisions required (if necessary)
- 15 May 2014: Registration and payment
- 2 June 2014: Late registration deadline
PhD students and PhD graduates:
- 28 June 2014: Submission of full paper to be uploaded on the conference website and made available to all registered participants
Only one communication per participant will be accepted.
Abstracts will be submitted to a double-blind peer review process. The organizing committee of the V Postgraduate Conference may recommend for oral presentation abstracts submitted for poster which meet high quality standards.
The identification form should be submitted to the following email pgconference2014@ualg.pt with the subject named “Abstract” or “Poster”.
PUBLICATION
Authors who have sent in their full paper to be uploaded on the conference website will be invited to submit their paper for publication in the academic journal: Dos Algarves. A Multidisciplinary e-Journal for possible publication.
