The VII Postgraduate Conference of the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism is organized by teaching staff under the auspices of the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism, University of the Algarve (Portugal). The conference aims to offer the opportunity for postgraduate students and recent PhD graduates from the areas of Economic and Management Sciences, ICT, Languages and Linguistics, and Tourism to come together to present papers or posters related to their research and to exchange ideas in a multidisciplinary environment. For the 7th edition, which will take place on 15th July 2016, masters and doctoral students, as well as those who have recently completed their masters degree or PhD will have the possibility to present papers or posters. We invite all researchers to submit their abstracts (in English, Portuguese or Spanish, max. 300 words), in the following areas:

  • Tourism
  • Hospitality
  • Marketing
  • Management
  • Information and Communication Technologies

Conference Languages: (1) Portuguese, (2) English and (3) Spanish.

All participants:

- 10 April 2016: Deadline for submission of abstracts (300 words max. and 5 keywords)
- 8 May 2016: Notification of acceptance
- 6 May 2016: Deadline extension for abstract submission
- 27 May 2016: Notification of acceptance
- 12 June 2016: Deadline for registration and payment (early-bird fee)
- 24 June 2016: Final deadline for registration

Only one communication per participant will be accepted.

PUBLICATION

Authors who have presented their paper at the conference website will be invited to submit their paper for publication in the academic journals Dos Algarves. A Multidisciplinary e-Journal and Tourism & Management Studies.
