Second Call for Papers
The VIII Postgraduate Conference of the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism is organized by teaching staff under the auspices of the School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism, University of the Algarve (Portugal). The conference aims to offer the opportunity for postgraduate students and recent PhD graduates from the areas of tourism, hospitality, marketing, management, ICT and languages and literatures to come together to present papers or posters related to their research and to exchange ideas in a multidisciplinary environment. For the 8th edition, which will take place on 7 July 2017, postgraduate, masters and PhD students as well as researchers who have obtained their PhD over the last five years will have the possibility to present papers or posters. We invite all researchers to submit their abstracts (in English, Portuguese or Spanish, max. 300 words), in the following areas:
- Tourism
- Hospitality
- Marketing
- Management
- Information and Communication Technologies
- Languages and Literatures
Conference Languages: (1) Portuguese, (2) English and (3) Spanish.

- 21 April 2017: Deadline for submission of abstracts (300 words max. and 5 keywords)
- 12 May 2017: Notification of acceptance
- 2 June 2017: Deadline for registration and payment [to ensure that accepted abstracts will be included in the Book of Abstracts and Programme]
- 30 June 2017: Final deadline for registration
The completed form should be emailed to: pgconference2017@ualg.pt, with the subject heading 'Abstract: presentation' or 'Abstract: poster'.
PUBLICATION
All abstracts selected for presentation will be published in the Book of Abstracts (with ISSN). After the conference, all participants may submit their work to the following journals: Dos Algarves. A Multidisciplinary e-Journal, Tourism & Management Studies, and CIEO (Research Centre for Spatial and Organizational Dynamics).
