Second Call for Papers
The Postgraduate Conference of School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism, University of the Algarve (Portugal), offers young researchers an informal space for multi-disciplinary discussion and critical reflection in the areas of tourism, hospitality, marketing, management, communication and information technologies, applied languages and literatures (to tourism, hospitality, marjketing and management), and related reserach areas. This annual conference is open to postgraduate students as well as to researchers who have recently obtained their PhD over the last five years. Master students and PhD students can present their research project. This year the conference is co-organized with the Lisbon Accounting and Business School (Portugal).
For the 10th edition, which will take place on 5 July 2019, postgraduate, masters and PhD students as well as researchers who have obtained their PhD over the last five years will have the possibility to present papers or posters.
We invite all researchers to submit their abstracts (in English, Portuguese or Spanish, max. 500 words), in the following areas:
- Accounting
- Culture and Heritage
- Economics
- Entrepreneurship
- Finance
- Taxation
- Hospitality
- Languages and Literature applied to Tourism and Management
- Marketing
- International Business
- Human Resources
- Ethics & Social Responsibility
- Information & Communication Technologies
Conference Languages: (1) Portuguese, (2) English and (3) Spanish.
All participants:
- 04 March 2019: Deadline for submission of abstracts (500 words max. and 5 keywords)
- 15 April 2019: Notification of acceptance
- 07 June 2019: Deadline for registration and payment and for abstract to be published in Book of Abstracts
The completed form should be emailed to: pgconference2019@iscal.ipl.pt, with the subject heading 'Abstract: presentation' or 'Abstract: poster'.

PUBLICATION
All abstracts selected for presentation will be published in the Book of Abstracts (with ISBN). After the conference, all participants may submit their work to the following journals: Dos Algarves. A Multidisciplinary e-Journal, Tourism & Management Studies, EJTHR (European Journal of Tourism, Hospitality and Recreation), and CIEO (Research Centre for Spatial and Organizational Dynamics).
